Well, I've been getting back into the swing of things with Progress Quest (i.e. remembering to turn the program on when I'm slothing), and have noticed something. While I'm only in the early 50's, each level is taking more than a day to complete. Just think if this were any of the other MMORPGs out there, how much time must be dumped into the game just so you can get your ePEEN.

Oh, Progress Quest, how much I love thee for being so good at pointing out the totally pointlessness of MMORPGs.

(Disclaimer: I don't have a problem with MMORPGs, I just think that if the hardcore gamers stepped back a few minutes they'd realize all the drama they're raising is over little bars that gets filled over and over again and maybe realize, oh hai, it's kind of NOT THAT IMPORTANT.)
